Office 365 Midlands User Group – May Date

Hello Readers,

As a part of my ongoing support for the wider community, I have teamed up with @o365uk (Office 365 UK User Group) to help bring technical sessions to the Midlands around On-Prem and Cloud Based Functions/Services and beyond. I have managed to drum up a lot of good speakers from the world of Microsoft Lync, Exchange and hopefully we have a couple of Vendors discussing their solutions.

The next Birmingham event will take place on the 14th May 2014 with the usual format;

6:00 Session 1 – Chris Gillot – Fused Collobation Session details will be posted here

6:50 Break Refreshments will be provided (soft drinks and cakes)

7:00 Session 2 – Iain Smith – Modality Systems Session details will be posted here

7:50 Break Refreshments will be provided (soft drinks and cakes)

8:00 Protecting your Precious Data – Brian Reid – C7 Solutions

In the last hour of the user group session we will look at Right Management to protect your emails and other data. We will concentrate on looking at Azure Active Directory Rights Management (AADRM) as this is newly available technology that will allow data protection for data on the move and at rest and allow us to share that data outside our security boundaries and into the cloud and our partners or BYOD users.

8:50 Wrap up then Networking at local pub

Register for this event here :

PLEASE NOTE: Currently on Bull Street there is a lot of road works to expansion the Midland Metro Line. You might not be able to see the venue clearly but its located opposite all the shops and set back into a court yard.
