Office 365 Midlands User Group Meeting – May 2014.. My last event….but….. UCBUG

Hello Readers

Tonight (14/05/2014) is the last time I will be hosting the Office 365 Midlands User Group as I have decided to fly the nest and focus on more UC sessions which will be cover, Lync, Exchange, Office 365 and Private Cloud. I have enjoyed hosting the Midlands event and hope to attend the User Group in its new location in Leicester, UK.

Special thank you all my speakers this evening Chris, Brian, Steve and myself 😉 You can access the slides from this evening event at the following url.

The Sessions details again are as followed

6:00 Microsoft Lync to PSTN Global Service – Chris Gillot – Fuse Collobation

In this session, Chris Gillott talks about how Fuse’s Microsoft Lync to PSTN global service can enable Office 365 customers to make & receive external PSTN telephone calls from & to their Office 365 Lync without the need to source, setup, manage and maintain any on-premises telephone environments (phone systems, telephone lines, negotiate calls rates etc).

Customers can also setup multi-party Lync conference calls with the integrated PSTN conference call bridge to host Lync, Lync Web App and dialled-in or dialled-out callers from landlines and/or mobiles on the same conference calls

Now for the Announcement!!! UC Birmingham User Group

As I have decided to fly the nest I have setup a new User Group that will be meeting in August at the same location of my past Office 365 User Group. I will be joined by Steve Goodman and Jason Wynn in hosting the event with sponsorship from EventZero and KEMP Technologies. The vision is to bring TechEd quality sessions to Birmingham and fly in my UC Architects Colleagues to deliver sessions. KEMP will also be raffling one VLM 200 at each User Group
