I have been configuring SQL 2014 Always On within one of my labs and ran into the following issue when creating the Listener
The attempt to create the network name and IP address for the listener failed. The WSFC service may not be running or may be inaccessible in its current state, or the values provided for the network name and IP address may be incorrect. Check the state of the WSFC cluster and validate the network name and IP address with the network administrator.
After investigating the System Log in the Event Viewer.
The resolution I undertaken for this issue is as followed
Open Active Directory Users and Computers on your Domain Controller.
Right Click Servers OU (This is the OU where your Failover Cluster Object was created into and as you can see mine sits under (OU=Servers,OU=LyncME,DC=LyncMe,DC=Local)
Select Security Tab
Select Object Types
Type the FDQN of your Failover Cluster
Select your Failover Cluster
Tick Create Computer Object
Now retry your Failed SQL Always On Listener setup
And its should complete successfully and the window will disappear
